The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2012 continued with the CSAT pattern introduced in 2011. This year saw increased competition, continued emphasis on aptitude in Prelims, and a traditional Mains structure. Below are the key dates, exam pattern, and important information for CSE 2012.

1. Prelims – CSAT-Based Pattern:

Both papers were compulsory and objective (MCQ) in nature:
